DPB

Test Procedure

1 Document Scope

Info

This procedure shows how to test the DPB Board.

2 Requirements

2.1 Hardware Requirements

  • DPB board under test;
  • DC Power Supply (At least 0-20V and 3A or more);
  • Supply Cable type Microfit-3.0. Polarity: Pin 1(+); 2(-);
  • DC Multimeter.

3 Test Procedure

  • Regulate the DC Power Supply to 12V - 0.2A and turn off the output.
  • Connect the supply cable to the input connector J1 of the DPB board.
  • Connect the supply cable to the DC Power Supply respecting the correct polarity: Pin 1(+); 2(-).
  • Connect the multimeter to the output connector J2 of the DPB board. Polarity: Pin 1(+); 2(-).
  • Enable the output of the DC Power supply. DL1 must be ON and the consumption around 20mA.
  • The voltage measurement with the multimeter must be between 4.9V and 5.1V.
  • Increase the voltage from the DC Power Supply to 18V, the output voltage must remain regulated.
  • Decrease the voltage from the DC Power Supply to 9V, the output voltage must remain regulated.
